Hello Hello! Just in case you missed last weeks super duper events for whatever reason, lets do a recap :)

We started off the week with some lovely Mentoring 101 with pair of the year 2013-2014 Necole Cayanan and Nea Ignacio. First-time Kuyates learned to kuyate :) We can’t wait for them to meet their babies March 17th !

On Thursday, we had a very eye-opening and informative Pinayism Workshop, held by our Community and Political Affairs Chairs and Public Relation Officers. We started with a good ol’ game of heads up 7up. The workshop covered sexism, gender fluidity, struggle, and so much more. We got a little trickle of what it means to be Pinay. Sisters of Kappa Psi Epsilon came to recite a very very empowering poem about Pinayism. Overall, we all saw Pinays in a different light, so keep educating yourself and others. And Remember your gender neutral pronouns y’all!!

To sum up this awesome week, we got to spend time with our bay area counterparts, Triforce! We played catch the bacon, played some bay area slaps, and ate spaghetti. It was a fun time and we can’t wait to hangout again.
