Haha, so yeah my name is Audie (Like the car? Yeah, kinda, ‘cept it’s pronounced aw-dee) Concordia, and I am one-half of your Media & Publications duo! I am a second year student, here at San Jose State and I am currently studying Civil Engineering. I’ve pretty much lived in the Daly City/South City area most of my life. I’ve moved around a lot, but yeah. Minor details. I went to Westborough Middle School and South San Francisco High so if you can identify, then awww yeeeah. I am full Filipino and I am undoubtedly proud of our rich culture.
Akbayan, to me, is an important part of my life. It’s basically how I got through my first year of college. I’ve met my closest friends at San Jose through the organization. Upon finishing freshman year, I came to the realization that without had it not been for Akbayan, I would have absolutely hated my time so far at San Jose State. It’s what brought me to awesome events, great people, and amazing memories. #corny As a part of this year’s cabinet, I wish to be a part of a team that will build upon the great successes of last year and bring you an even better year!
On to the random tidbits about me. Short and concise. My favorite movie is Zoolander. Quote movie lines with me and we can be great friends. I love playing video games. Get at me. I draw. Cartoons and doodles. I like the board game Settlers of Catan. If you know what that is, then high five! I collect Mighty Muggs. If you know what those are, double high five! I love God. With all my heart. I think Pokemon is cool and I like to have Nerf sword fights in the aisles of Target. I’ve never been to a Wal-Mart. I’m on them social networking sites.
